Product Description

This AC system works with the heat exchange principle by using the ice/solid that NanoFreeze creates with its bionanocompound. Given the specific heat and thermal conductivity of NanoFreeze’s ice, it is possible to use this system to actually cool indoor spaces!

The AC system 17’ x 13’ panel holds hexagonal cavities which optimize the bionanocompound to its maximum freezing volume creating a grid for airflow. Cavities support a variety of liquids such as ethanol, glycerol, or water. Its ducts restart the freezing cycle using pressure and an internal flow between each panel cavity and duct freezes all the contents inside the panel.

The AC structure uses 5 ml cavities with the bionanocompound, supporting a variety of liquids such as ethanol, glycerol, or water. Between each cavity, ducts work with pressure changes connecting the liquid of all the cavities. The function of these ducts is to restart the freezing cycle by pressure change, having a reduced duct connected with a valve  that opens to a bigger space that is the cavity.

This system also has a last cavity with the same capacity of the others that works as a drain for the thawed ethanol, when this cavity fills its capacity, the freezing cycle will repeat automatically,  only by injecting back in the system the ethanol that is in the drain. This will generate an internal flow between each panel cavity and its duct, freezing immediately all the content inside the panel.

NanoFreeze's AC panel grid cools the air with our patented bionanocompound. Thanks to its internal system it creates ice keeping it for longer periods, using 70% less energy than a conventional AC.
